Iran Reports Attack on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, During Regional Retaliatory Strikes.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed strikes throughout the Middle East in response for a large-scale and continuing offensive against it by the United States and Israeli forces.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an vicinity near the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The scope of any impact is not yet known and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.
Missile Defenses Activated
In other parts of the Middle East, the UAE, Qatar and the State of Kuwait - which all house US military bases - stated they have shot down incoming projectiles in their air space.
In Doha, Qatar's defence ministry said it had successfully engaged several missiles seemingly aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the biggest US military installation in the Middle East.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was targeting US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the attack on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.
That US-Israeli operation - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck areas associated with the Tehran's leadership, with President Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the regime.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces reported it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the UAE said in a statement that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems engaged the missiles with high efficiency and destroyed a series of missiles," it added.
The statement noted wreckage fell on a populated district in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some material damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
