The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The celebrated game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
